Michael Cole earned his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Angelo State University. During a break in his studies, he served as a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard, later completing Officer Candidate School (OCS) and earning his commission as an Infantry Officer in 2007.
He pursued his legal education at Texas Tech University School of Law, earning a Business Law Concentration. As part of his studies, Michael spent two semesters at Oxford University, including his final semester, before completing his Juris Doctor.
A firm believer in community and civil service, Michael brings the same dedication and tenacity he demonstrated while serving this country to his legal practice. Let him put that commitment to work for you.
As a nontraditional student, Michael has met with people from all walks of life, including the descendant of a Saudi CEO and Nelson Mandela's grandson. His travels and interactions with diverse individuals have given him a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for different cultures and experiences.
These encounters have profoundly shaped his worldview and contributed to the lawyer he is today.
Michael believes in the importance of lifelong learning. Over the years, he has worn many hats, starting as a Taco Bell employee and then as a Radio Shack sales associate during a time when employees were expected to know how to work on an integrated circuit board. He served as a prison guard at a maximum-security facility before returning to college after a year in that role. His career path also included working as a traveling computer technician (a 'geek on call' before Geek Squad existed), serving as a Combat Medic and Infantry Officer, and becoming a Stock Broker—starting in 2007, a challenging time to enter the field.
Today, Michael channels his diverse experiences into litigating cases.
